在人类生存与经济社会发展、民族形成和演进的历程中,文化作为一种客观的、潜隐的、软性的力量始终发挥着不可替代的功用。随着全球化时代的到来,文化在民族生存与经济社会发展中的地位逐渐从边缘走向中心,文化的力量从潜隐走向外显,文化软实力已成为综合国力竞争的核心,提高文化软实力成为民族国家必须面对的时代课题。这既为人类深入探究文化的力量提供了历史条件,也对人类理性认识文化的力量提出了客观要求。从文化哲学的视角来看,文化的力量可以概括为塑造力、维系整合力、凝聚支撑力、引导驱动力、感召力、影响力和经济与价值竞争力。

In the course of the survival of human beings, the development of economy and society as well as the formation and evolvement of nations, culture, as an objective, latent and soft force, always plays an irreplaceable role. Along with the advent of the globalization era, the status of culture in the survival of nations as well as the development of economy and society is going from edge to centre, the power of culture is also becoming more and more outstanding, and the soft power of culture begins to act as a key factor in the competition of comprehensive national power. How to promote cultural soft power is an actual issue that any nation or state has to face. This not only provides historical conditions for man to make a thorough inquiry into the force of culture, but also puts forward objective demands for man to cognize the force of culture. From the philosophical angle of culture, the force of culture can be summarized as molding force, maintaining and integrating force, cohesive force, leading and driving force, attracting force, affecting force, economic and value competitive force, etc.
