西学东渐论点画

On "Dot and Stroke"of Chinese Characters since the Eastward Transmission of Western Sciences

摘要 自"五四"新文化运动以来,一些人用西方"线条"取代汉字"点画",书法的传统品评语言和思维方式面临西化,其文化意蕴的独特性正在消解。点画不仅是一种独特的书法语言,更是中华民族的文化符号,中国书法的点画与西方美术中的线条完全不同,点画所构筑的书法世界正是中国文化的特色和优势。针对"线条说"的蔓延,郑重阐明了"点画"对于中国书法不可或缺的重要性,并由此进一步探讨了当代书法在继承和创新方面存在的问题。 Since the May Fourth New Cultural movement, some people have used the western "line" to replace the "dot and stroke" of Chinese characters so that the traditional commenting language and thinking mode of calligra with westernization and the uniqueness of its cultural connotation is eroded. Dot and stroke is not only a phy are faced unique calli- graphic language, but the cultural symbol of the Chinese nation as well. The dot and stroke of Chinese calligraphy is dia- metrically different from the line of western fine arts. The calligraphic world constructed by the dot and stroke is the characteristic feature and advantage of Chinese culture. Targeting at the spreading of the "line theory", it is seriously explained that the dot and stroke is of inevitable importance to Chinese calligraphy and thus are further dealt with the problems of contemporary calligraphy in the aspect of inheritance and innovation.
