顾毓琇是一位享誉国际的科学家、教育家、电机工程学家。他一生与工程事业结缘,终身服务工程教育,为国内工程教育发展作出了重大的贡献;其贡献主要体现四个方面:推行工程国本化,注重基本训练,凸显实验、实习,用实践诠释工程的服务精神。
Gu Yuxiu is a scientist, educator and electrical engineer who enjoys an international fame. He has been attached to engineering throughout his life. He has sacrificed for the education of engineering and has made great contributions to national education of engineering; his contribution is chiefly embodied in four aspects, carrying out the nationalization of engineering and laying emphasis on basic training, highlighting experiment and internship and defining the spirit of service in practice.
