摘要
通过对《索引与索引法——书籍杂志报纸》、Indexing:a handbook of instruction以及《引得说》三本著作的比较研究,认为,钱亚新之《索引与索引法——书籍杂志报纸》一书是我国第一部现代索引专著。
In this paper, I conclude that the Index and lndexing for Books, Periodicals and Newspapers, written by Qian Yaxin, is China＇s first modem indexing monograph by comparing with Indexing： a handbook of instruction and On Indexing.
