摘要
战略管理理论的发展,已经从关注外部产业组织结构向内部如何构建核心竞争力转变。然而,对于那些新兴市场国家中缺乏核心竞争力的企业而言,它们的竞争优势却未必是由显性的核心竞争力带来,而更有可能是由其对企业拥有的或从外部可购买的资源,通过创新、整合的方式进行使用,从而创造出独特的竞争优势或发展路径,我们称之为"复合基础观"。本文对复合基础观的内涵进行了剖析,并在此基础上提出了复合式能力提升的"LEARN"模型。
Strategic management theories have in recent years shifted from the effect of industrial structure attributes outside the firm to the importance of core competence within the firm. Current theories,however,cannot explain how emerging market firms who do not possess core competencies can actually thrive in a competitive environment. In this paper,we develop the notion of composition-based view(CBV) – that is,emerging market firms build their unique competitive advantages not by possessing core competencies as argued by resource-based view(RBV) but instead by creatively using,combining and integrating existing resources that are internally and externally available to them. In this article,we elucidate content and approaches concerning what is and how to establish CBV-based advantages. In doing so,we propose and delineate the'LEARN'model.
