摘要
从一般的模方程出发,经过合适的数学处理,并进行数值积分,导出了高斯折射率分布波导模方程解的近似表达式;计算并作出了归一化色散曲线;给出了不同波长下的单模波导条件。这些结果可用来测量高斯折射率分布波导的表面折射率、特征厚度和模式深度,也可作为设计单模平面波导的依据。
From the general mode equation, through appropriate mathematical treatment and numerical integration, the approximate expression of the solution of the mode equation for Gaussian-Index distribution waveguide is derived. A normalization dispersion curve is calculated and a single-mode condition for different wavelengths is obtained. These results can be used to measure the refractive-index of surface, characteristic thickness and mode depth. It can also be taken as the criterion of designing a single-mode planar waveguide.
