YU Genchu's Academic Thought and Popular Treatise on Febrile Diseases

中医药源远流长,绍兴底蕴深厚,并自成一派,在中华医药史上有着重要地位,"绍兴伤寒学派"是其真实写照。就《通俗伤寒论》由来,论述了俞根初以书宜活读,方宜活用;提出寒温统一,使伤寒温病兼收并蓄。辨证外感时病,宗仲景,兼参诸家学说,奠定了论治外感病的理论基础。临证四诊合参,注重观目及腹诊,舌诊、按脉,首创六经之下,每经有其主脉、主舌,统领为纲;重祛邪以发表、攻里为主,使祛邪而留有出路;以通为补灵,活应用为成法;重护胃气,全藉阳明具有新意;方药以轻灵见长,切实有用;疗疾重调护,饮食讲宜忌;瘥后之调理更注重脾胃等学术思想。俞氏重于实践、敢于创新、善于总结、知行合一的独特个性,成为一代名家。

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history. Shaoxing has its medical school and has an important position in Chinese medical history. Shaoxing school of febrile diseases is the true portraiture. Based on the origin,it elaborated YU Genchu＇s idea that books should be read flexibly and prescriptions should be applied flexibly;it proposed the unity of febrile diseases and warm diseases. Syndrome differentiation of exogenous disease is based on Zhongjing^s theory and other physicians＂ theroy to lay on the treatment of exogenous febrile diseases. Clinical evidence of four inspections should be considered together, paying attention to eye and abdomen diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, pulse -taking. Each meridian has its main pulse as well as the main tongue, and is as the key link. Eliminating evils to disperse the exterior and purge the interior is the main treatment which can make outlets for evils. The dredging method is used as supplementing meth- od. Stomach Qi should be protected for new understanding of Yangming. Drugs are mainly the ones with slight tastes. Nursing and diet also should be paid attention to. YU~ academic thoughts pay attention to practice with reformation and summary with unique features and thus he became a famous great physician.
