摘要
抗战时期重庆的翻译一直是研究的盲区。从历史语境化的视角研究发现,战时的戏剧翻译是主流政治话语的重要组成部分。戏剧的译介缓解了战时的剧本荒,适应了战时的舞台演出条件,推动了民族戏剧的发展和民族文化精神的长远发展。战时戏剧翻译的本土化、大众化,以及删节、增添、改编等翻译策略有助于揭示特定历史语境中翻译的规律、特征和形态。
Translation in Chongqing during the period of Anti- Japanese War has been a blind spot in the translation studies so far. From the perspective of historical contextualization, it is found that the drama translation then was a vital part of the dominant discourse. It not only met the urgent need of the stage and suited the conditions of the performance, but also provided nourishment to the traditional play writing and promoted the de- velopment of Chinese mentality. The localization, popularization and varied translation strategies such as omission, addition and adaptation help to reveal the principles, the characteristics and the modes of translation in particular historical contexts.
