On the Mythological Nature of “Cupid and Psyche”

在前人研究的基础上,对《丘比特和赛姬》的神话性进行探讨,通过对该故事的分析,指出该作品在思想内涵和叙述手法两方面均带有浓厚的希腊神话色彩,体现了以神为中心的希腊民族文化特色。同时,作为《美女与野兽》的最早书面异文,《丘比特和赛姬》在童话史上具有开创性和基垫性的意义,对该故事的研究,有助于更全备和更系统地认识该童话的形成和演变。

On the basis of previous studies, the mythological nature of ＂Cupid and Psyche＂ is investigated to conclude that the work is a typical Greek myth. In both ideology and narration the work is god - centered, which is the essence of Greek mythology. As the earliest written different text ＂Beauty and the Beast,＂ ＂Cupid and Psyche＂ has the groundbreaking and fundamental signifi- cance in the history of the fairytale and the research into the work is helpful to understand the emergence and evolution of ＂Beauty and the Beast＂.
