Philosophical Considerations on the Revolution of Science and Technology

近代以来兴起的三次科技革命,对人类社会的发展产生了巨大的推动作用,它极大地改变了人类的物质生活和精神生活,但同时,它又是一把双刃剑,给自然界带来了诸多危害,引发了很多伦理问题。在这种情况下,要想找到生命的回归之旅,必须要从东西方的文化开始溯源,在以客观性和理性为主的还原论科学支撑的社会中,追求人与自然的和谐,提倡人的生命要融入到宇宙自然的大生命中去。最后,从我国的传统文化中为当今科技带来的困境找到了一条出路。

The three revolutions of science and technology in modern times have greatly promoted the development of human society, bringing great changes to people＇s material and spiritual life. However, they are a double-edged sword at the same time, causing lots of troubles to the nature and raising many ethical problems. In this case we must trace back to the very sources from which the eastern and western cultures originate to find the return journey of life. This paper advocates that human life must be integrated into natural life in the universe, and finds a way out of the dilemmas caused by today＇s science and technology from our traditional culture.
