摘要
本文对茂名2003-2011年主要科技指标进行了统计分析。茂名取得了不小的成绩,但与珠三角发达地区相比存在较大差距,在粤西地区也不算排头兵,茂名应进一步加强科技创新能力,优化科技力量和科技资源的配置,提高高新技术产业和传统产业的市场竞争力。
In this paper, we analysis the main scientific and technological indictors from 2003 to 2011. According to the result, Maoming has made a great achievement, However, compared with developed Pearl Riiver Delta region there is a big gap, even it is not in the first stage among the west of Guangdong province. So it should further strengthen the innovation of science and technology, make a better allocation in both technological strength and technological resource. Besides, it should improve the market competitiveness of High-tech industries and traditional industries.
