当前大学英语教学多侧重目的语文化学习,而忽略了母语及母语文化对英语教学的影响,导致只会用英语表达目的语文化,而难以用英语表达母语文化的现象产生。调查分析当前高校"中国文化失语"情况,指出要改变此现状,必须从改变英语教材,注重教学过程、提高教师素质等方面入手。

Nowadays, English teaching in China pays more attention on target language culture, neglecting the influence of mother language and culture. The students can only express the target language culture and have problems in expressing Chi- nese culture in English. In order to change the current situation,the article puts forward some measures such as changing ｜he English materials, emphasizing the teaching process and improving the qualities of teachers.
