Puerperae with Qi-deficiency Constitution and Principle of Prevention First

气虚质产妇,卫气不足,诸邪易袭,在不断增强自身体质的同时,还应防邪气侵入。其治未病法则为:顾护其正,力克诸邪,衣被增减有时,洁其所居,饮食多加留意。

The puerperae with qi-deficiency constitution are usually deficient in defensive qi and easily attacked by various patho- genic factors. Therefore., while improving the constitution, prevention of the pathogenic qi should be also conducted. The princi- ple of prevention first should be the following： protecting the healthy qi mid eliminating the pathogenic qi vigorously, keeping warm or cool at proper time, cleaning the resident house and paying attention to diet.
