长期以来,英雄儿女小说的概念不够准确,篇目归属、类型划分也较混乱。英雄儿女小说主要由两方面构成:儿女真情与英雄至性。英雄儿女小说的类型特征也主要体现在这两个方面。英雄儿女小说的文化研究应注重"内部研究"与"外部研究"沟通,诸如"情"与"礼"的冲突,"忠"与"奸"的斗争,寄兴感怀、自我表现的创作动机等。

It is not accurate enough for the concept of heroes and heroines fictions, contents attribution and types also more confusing for a long time. There are two kinds of contents of the heroes and heroines novels： the true love and heroes＇ e- motion. There are two main types for the heroes and heroines of fictions. The cultural studies on the heroes and heroines of fictions should be focused on the communication between ＂internal research＂ and ＂outside research＂, such as the conflicts between ＂love＂ and ＂rites＂, the struggles between ＂loyalty＂ and ＂traitors＂, and the motivations of memories and recollections, and creative self- expression.
