西藏缩栉蚤属一新种(蚤目:角叶蚤科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS BREVICTENIDIA FROM XIZANG, CHINA (SIPHONAPTERA: CERATOPHYLLIDAE)

1978年在西藏自大耳鼠兔Ochotona macrotis采到缩栉蚤属一新种,定名为西藏缩栉蚤Brevictenidia xizangensis sp.nov.。

Brevictenidia xizangensis sp. nov.Distinctions between the new species and Brevictenidia mikulini (Schwartz, 1960): in the former species, spines of the pronotal comb of the male wider, sawtooth-shaped; these spines of the female broad and blunt. Concavity of posterior margin of the movable process relatively shallow. But, in the latter, spines of the pronotal comb of the male thin; these spines of the female narrow and sharp. Concavity of posterior margin of the movable process deeper, arc-like in form.Holotype male, 2.59mm long, allotype female, 2.76mm long, and paratypes' 1 male (2.55mm) and 1 female (2.75 mm), off Ochotona macrotis Gunther, from Xiaqiuka (4200m) of Bi-ru County, Xizang Autonomous Region (31°48'N, 92°51'E), August, 1978. Holotype and allotype are deposited in (he First Institute of Endemic Diseases Research, Jilin Province and pa-ratypes in the Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology, Academy of Military Medical Sciences.
