马陆体上的革螨一新属新种及一新科的建立(蜱螨亚纲:皮刺螨总科)

A NEW GENIUS AND SPECIES OF GAMASIDES OFF JULUS TERRESTRIS AND A NEW FAMILY PROPOSED (ACARI: DERMANYSSOIDEA)

在贵阳市土马陆Julus terrestris 体上采得一种革螨,系未曾描述过的新种,并为其建立新科、新属,以其背板周围具细毛这一特征而命名为:毛盾螨科Trichoaspididae和毛盾螨属Trichoaspis。模式种:马陆毛盾螨,新种Trichoaspis julus sp.nov.

A new genus and species of gamasides off Julus terrestris Linnaeus from China is described and figured in this paper, and a new family is proposed for it.Trichoaspididae fam. nov.Dermanyssoidea. One dorsal plate covering podosoma only, its margin with minute setae. Female with large presternal plate and small genital plate, bearing one pair of genital setae. Stigma with peritrematal plate, but without peritreme, peritrematal plate bearing a spine. The length of fixed digit two times to movable digit. Forked seta two tined.Type genus: Trichoaspis gen. nov.Trichoaspis gen. nov.Trichoaspididae. Medium mites. Idiosoma rather long. Dorsal plate bearing 25 setal pairs, all setae fine except Mn. Anterolateral margin of gnathobase bearing a row of setae. Four pairs of gnathosoma! setae very small. Sternal plate of female longer than width. Genital plate small, bearing one setal pair. Anal plate transversely ovate in shape, perianal setae fine. All legs strong, heavily chitinized, setae on legs very small and few in number.Type species: Trichoaspis julus gen. et sp. nov.Trichoaspis julus gen. el sp. nov.Species diagnosis as described above (figs. 1-5).Holotype ♀, paratypes 3♀♀ are collected on May 31, 1986, other 4♀♀ on May 2, 1983, all off Julus terrestris Linnaeus, from Guiyang City (16.6°N, 106.7°E), Guizhou Province, deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College.
