ON THREE NEW SPECIES OF CHYDORUS FROM CHINA (CRUSTACEA: DIPLOSTRACA: CHYDORIDAE)

本文绘图描述了中国枝角类盘肠溞科盘肠溞属的三个新种:1.腹针盘肠溞Chydorus aciculaius sp.nov.的主要特征为壳瓣腹缘中部有一向后的针刺;2.多刺盘肠溞Chydorus spinosus sp.nov.的主要特征为整个壳瓣表面密布细刺;3.断壳盘肠溞Chydorus mutilatus sp.nov.的主要特征为壳瓣背缘后部平截内陷,有如断缺。

In this paper 3 new species of Ghydorus from China are described. The types are deposited in the Institute of Hydrobiology, Academia Sinica.1. Chydorus aciculatus sp. nov. (figs. 1-2)This new species may be distinguished from all the known congeners by having a stout acicular spine on the middle of ventral margin.Holotype ♀, paratypes 2♀♀, Lake Honghu (29°49'N, 113°17'E), Honghu County, H tpei Province, Sept. 10, 1981, Coll. He Yin-ling.2. Chydorus spinosus sp. nov. (figs. 3-5)This new species differs from all the known species of the genus in that the valves are covered with fine spines.Holotype ♀, paratype 1♀, Lake Honghu (29°49'N, 113°17'E), Honghu County, Hupei Province, Nov. 10, 1981, Coll. He Yin-ling.3. Chydorus mutilatus sp. nov. (figs. 6-9)This new species somewhat resembles Chydorus mulilus Kreis, 1920 in the valves, but distinguished from the later by the apex of plate of labrum not produced into a rodlike process, postabdomen with somewhat truncate distal m rgin, claw with two basal spines, and the pattern of polygons on the valves.Holotype ♀, Paratypes 15♀♀, ricefield, Fenghuang County (27°94'N, 109°78'E), Hunan Provence, Apr. 25, 1988, Coll.
