摘要 目的 研究新生沙土鼠耳蜗腹核神经元的发育规律 .方法 不同日龄的新生沙土鼠耳蜗腹核横切片 ,经尼氏染色后在显微镜下观察核内神经元的形态大小和数量的变化 .结果 新生沙土鼠耳蜗腹核神经元的形态大小在出生后8d内即告完成 ;但在出生后 8~ 12 d其数量有明显减少 ,说明这一短暂阶段内发生了神经元的死亡 .结论 新生沙土鼠在出生后有一短暂的自然发生的神经元死亡期 ,结合文献分析这一时间也正是它的听力初始形成期 ,因此这种自然发生的神经元死亡与听觉的发育有关 . AIM To observe the postnatal development of gerbil ventral cochlear nucleus. METHODS The frontal sections of different aged postnatal gerbil ventral cochlear nucleus (VCN) were observed under microscope after Nissl staining. RESULTS The formation of morphological size of VCN had finished before postnatal 8 days, and the numbers of neurons decreased significantly during postnatal 8~12 days. That implied the neuron death happened in this period. CONCLUSION There is very short temporary period when naturally occurring neuron death occurs in new postnatal gerbil VCN. According to the review of some literature, this period is just the onset of gerbil's hearing. Therefore, we think this sort of neuron death is related to hearing development.
