汉英语中生活委婉语的异同——以美剧《生活大爆炸》为例

Similarities and differences of Chinese and English Euphemism in life——to play "Big Bang" as an example

委婉语指通过一定的措辞将语言中一些难于启齿、令人不适的话题以一种委婉含蓄的方式间接表达出来。没有委婉语,社会交际就不可能顺利进行,因此在汉英两种语言中,委婉语都是必不可少、普遮存在的。本文以播美剧《生活大爆炸》中极具特色的台词中的部分委婉语,和汉语中的委婉语进行类比分析,并结合东西方文化背景解读汉英两种语言在委婉语运用方面的异同。

Based on the broadcast TV ＂ Big Bang＂ very special lines part of euphemism, and Chinese euphemism was analyzed, and the similarities and differences in the use of euphemism in combination with the East - West cultural background of the two languages.
