千年恋江 繁华向北
江北是一个非常自然的地域概念姚江、甬江之北。这块土地，历史悠久，贤达辈出，文化辉璨。但“江北”这样一个命名是非常新近的事情。1949年宁波市从鄞州析出，1951年江北作为一个行政区设立．1956年废．1978年夏复置。从这个意义上来说，江北是古老土地上一个崭新的构造。然而．这块老三区面积最大的区域，却正好浓缩宁波城市的千年演变历程。
The Jiangbei District, located at the northern gate of downtown Ningbo, features both metropolitan and prefectural economies. In recent years, the district government has made unceasing efforts to meet the residents' demand in housing, jobs, transport, environment and culture by building the district into a modernized city that is proud to her residents, attractive to investors and admirable to travelers.
