教师专业发展遮蔽了教师作为情感人和心理人的完整人性。教师生命成长则关注教师完整生命优化,关注教师为人与为师的统一。为人包括自食其力、潜赋俱扬、幸福高尚和惠仁世界四大主题,专业理想、专业知识、专业能力和专业自我则构成为师的四大内容;本着幸福展开、专业发展、生命成长、教育富美、内外协同和生态建构的原则,从外部互流、内部支持及主体自主的三体展开教师生命成长的阳光工程;健康的身心、富美的生活、扎实的教学、深度的学习、创新的研究、充分的交流、优质的资源和优秀的文化成为了此工程的核心措施和终极目标。以上四内容、三体路径、八措施与目标构成了"四三八"模式的主要元素。
