On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of complicated operation in slantwise pressing-and-Embedding Assembly(SPEA) and taking a typical example as the background this paper designed a corresponding holding devics. This device has compact and ingenious structures and can satisfy the requirements quite nicely for operations in SPEA. It has a quite good value of reference to the design of holding device with assembling operations of the same kind.
