Based on the analysis about Pareto＇s thought of transformation and the social background, the article concludes that Pareto regarded the emotional factors as the drive of human behavior, and it＇s also the drive of the phenomenon of making the non-logical act logical. It is related to the social functioning situation that dominated by social elite. The article also discusses why Pareto＇s academic infuence changed so much.
