Memorization is a necessarily basic step for mastering words, sentence structures and grammar in English study. How to make the memorization effective？ Besides proper methods, the more important thing is to have a certain kind of awareness which will remind us to apply what we＇ve memorized often in practical language situation to solid our memorization effectiveness.Apart from imparting the students essential language knowledge, how to develop them into those with active learning awareness so as to improve their memorization effectiveness, is worthwhile and an important task for college English teachers to study.
