This article analyzed the reason of cylinder gears noise emerging, which is considered as the major factor for power tools failures. Therefore, solution has been presented in the field of selection of hobbing equipment, hobbing cutter and shaft material of armature, technology of hard gear hobbing, heat treatment and accuracy measurement.
