The famous educator Yang Guanghua is one of the most influential presidents of China University of Petroleum in history, respected and loved by teachers and students. He served as President in three different historical periods of Beijing Petroleum Institute, East China Petroleum Institute, University of Petroleum for 26 years, insisting on running petroleum universities well for the development of China＇s oil industry, attaching great importance to the quality of education and teaching and cultivation of petroleum scientific talents, emphasizing that the key university must improve the level of scientific researches.
