摘要
粤西地区农村小学教师在专业发展上面临的窘况,是欠发达地区农村基础教育的一个缩影。粤西地区农村小学存在师资配备不合理、教师职业忠诚度较低、教育教学能力有待提高、培训与科研活动缺乏等问题,提供政策支持、更新教育理论、改革教育方法与手段、调整培养机制是促进农村小学教师专业能力提高的有效策略。要实现城乡教育的均衡化,在农村小学形成一支"下得去、留得住、教得好"的师资队伍,切实为教师的专业发展与自我价值实现创造良好的环境,欠发达地区农村的基础教育才能逐步发展壮大,农村人口的素质才能提高,新农村建设才可能有智力支持和人才保障。
The professional predicament faced by rural primary school teachers in western Guangdong is a microcosm of the rural basic ed ucation in underdeveloped areas. Rural primary school teachers in westem Guangdong have lower occupation loyalty with unreasonable place ment of staffing, inefficient teaching ability and very few training and research activities. The effective strategies to improve teachers' professional ability include providing policy support, updating educational theory, refomaing educational methods and adjusting the training mechanism. Only through achieving the equalization of urban and rural education as well as creating a good environment for teachers' development and realization of their self value can we improve the educational quality in underdeveloped areas and promote the construction of new socialist countryside.
