This paper is an impression of reading ＂Outline of Na- tional History＂, which reviews the historical background and liw ing environment of Mr. Qian Mu when he was creating this book, and analyzes two wonderful places in this book, the profound and meticulous textual research, and the original views on economic and political history. We also interpret our understanding of ＂Outline of National History＂ in this paper.
