Moving blade forging die is at high temperature by shock compression forced hot forging blank become blade tool. With the continuous development of steam turbine manufacture technology, moving blade type line changed. Forging die cavity depth increased, angle of cavity and plane region steeped, resulting in near section time die deformation is more serious in the moving blade forging, seriously affect the service life of forging die. Through analysis, the cause of these problem is the presence of large amounts of residual austenite in mold' s microstructure. For this, the 5CrNiMo material heat treatment process are analyzed specially. By making appropriate process, successfully solved the problem of residual austenite, prolong the service life of the die.
