摘要
妮可·克劳斯是美国文坛升起的一颗新星,《大宅》是其广受赞誉的一部最新力作。本文从情节构建的虚构与真实、话语转义以及小说文本的多重叙事视角这三个方面分析《大宅》中的后现代历史叙事技巧与犹太寻根主题,指出小说作者克劳斯巧妙地运用后现代叙事技巧,重述了一段艰辛的犹太寻根历程,提醒人们注意到直面过去和反思历史的重要性。
Nicole Krause is a rising star in the American literary field.Great House is her latest novel which won wide acceptance.Focusing on the fiction-reality relation,the tropes,and the multi-perspectives in Great House,this essay analyzes the postmodern historical narrative style and the Jewish root-searching theme of the novel.What is further pointed out is that through a wise use of the postmodern historical narrative techniques,Krause reconstructs a hard journey on which the Jews are searching for their roots,and emphasizes the importance of facing the past directly and of having the history reconsidered.
