后悔的逻辑结构

On the Logical Structure of Regret

后悔是人的一种心智状态。与相信、知道一样后悔是心智模态,其对象是某个与行动者的行动有关的命题或事态。某人后悔是因为他做过某个事情、而对这样的事情他现在认为他"不应当"做。借助于可能世界语义学,一个极小的后悔心智逻辑得到构建。该系统是完全且可靠的非标准模态逻辑系统。该系统刻画了合理的后悔关系。研究后悔的逻辑构造有助于对因后悔而造成的思想病症进行思想分析或治疗。

Regret is a kind of mental state of human beings. Like ＂believe＂ and ＂know＂, regret is a mental modality. The object of regret is some proposition or state of affairs related to the agent. Someone regrets because he did a thing and he thinks he shouldn＇ t do it. By means of possible world semantics, a minimal regret mental logic system is built. The system is a nonstandard modal logic system which is complete and sound. The system can be used to describe rational relationship of regret. The research of the structure of regret can help us to analyze or cure problems which are resulted from regrets.
