The ultimate reason of the lack of China＇s independent innovative capability is the lack of scientific spirit. Scientific spirit is a humanistic spiritual strength including scientific ratio-nality and value rationality, and focusing on scientific rationality is a prominent characteristic of Western science, while focusing on the value of scientific rationality is China＇s traditional strength.
