The new curriculum reform emphases on the whole students, as well as the individual development of every student. Respecting students＇ individual differences has become a con-sensus. Cooperative learning is an effective teaching method. With English teaching as the carrier, this paper expounds the role of cooperative learning, the techniques and the issues that should be paid attention to in teaching process.
