Language is a tool for interpersonal communication. Therefore, language learning and mastery is the most basic and most important subject for human beings. The language is consti-tuted by individuals, including words, phrases, simple sentences, and complex sentences. So, in any language learning, memory plays a crucial role. This paper reflects the importance of memory in English learning and briefly explores how to make memory play a more effective role in English learning.
