On the Dynamic Relationship between Virtue and Moral Behavior

德性是一个人之所以为人的规范的根本把握和具体践履。德性作为一种内在的品质之育化,其相对稳定性直接表现为个体知行合一的深切体验。但随着市场经济对社会意识和德性成就条件的改变,人们的道德行为常常不能与我们所了解的一个人的德性想一致,甚至相反。因此,本文主要阐述德性与德行之间的动态关系,即一致性和非一致性及其原因,从而为找出一条提高道德教育实效性,构建和谐社会的途径和方法提供理论上的支持。

A virtue is valued as a foundation of principle and good moral being. As a positive trait or quality deemed to be morally good, its relative stability is shown by the unity of knowing and doing. However, along with the effective of market economy on social consciousness and virtue, a person＇s moral behavior is always not consistent with his virtue or even opposite. This paper mainly discusses the dynamic relationship between virtue and moral behavior, discovering the reasons for the consistency and inconsistency, and provides theoretical supports to find out ways of improving moral education effectiveness and constructing a harmonious society.
