民族政治的真正主体是民族。为推进民族政治研究走向深入,需要对民族政治主体本身进行必要分析。对此,可以从民族个体和民族群体两个维度来对民族政治主体加以探究。其中,民族个体分析维度是从作为个体的民族成员层面分析民族自身,它构成了民族政治研究独特性的来源和宏观问题研究的基础,并为民族政治研究提供了重要方法;民族群体分析维度是从作为群体的民族共同体层面分析民族自身,民族群体内部具有相同或相近利益诉求,外部具有谋求民族政治权力的共同心理倾向或行为取向。民族政治主体的两个分析维度既相互区别、又相互联系,在民族政治生活中既相互制约,又相互促进。对于民族个体与民族群体关系的讨论,能够帮助我们更好地理解民族矛盾、协调民族关系、处理民族问题。

The real subject of National politics is nationality. For making a further research on the study of National politics, there is a need to analyze the subject itself. The study of national political subject can be analyzed from the two dimensions-na-tional individuality and national groups. The dimension of national individual analysis analyzed nationality itself based on the indi- viduality in the national member. It constitutes the origin of study on national political uniqueness and the foundation of the study on macro-issues, and also provides an important way to the study on national politics. The dimension of national group analysis analyzed nationality itself based on the group as the national community. The inner of national groups have the same or similar in- terests, while the external have the common psychological tendency or behavior to seek national political power. There are dis- tinctions and connections between the bi-dimension of the national political subject. They are not only restricted, but also promo-ted each other in the national political life. At the same time, the discussion on the relationship between national individuality and national groups can help us better understand the national contradictions, coordinate the national relationship and deal with national issues.
