古籍是中国悠久民族传统文化得以传承的瑰宝,只有对古籍进行合理保护与开发利用,才能充分实现其学术价值、艺术价值和文化价值。高校图书馆古籍管理工作的现状是存放环境简陋、管理保护工作薄弱、专业人员匮乏。做好古籍保护与开发利用工作的具体化措施在于:建设合格的古籍珍藏书库,建立和完善古籍保护管理制度,强化古籍保护专业人才队伍建设以及开展古籍数字化再生保护工作。

As ancient books are treasures that make our ancient traditional national culture be passed, only by giving them rea- sonable protection and exploitation can we realize their full academic value, artistic value and cultural value. The status of ancient management work in university library is that ancient books are stored in poor environment, the management and protection work are weak and professionals are lack. The specific measures to do a good job in the protection and exploitation of ancient books are as follows： Building a qualified ancient collection stacks, establish and improve the protection management system, strengthen the team of professionals in the protection as well as carry out the digitization renewable protection.
