With the internationalization of higher education ,to maintain and guarantee the quality of education and en-hance its competitiveness against such developed countries as Britain and America to get more shares in international mar-ket of overseas students ,Australia established a quality assurance system which combines the internal monitoring system and control system to monitor the quality of education .The Australian government hopes that the university could devel-op the students＇abilities of creation and critical thinking and encourages them to engage in the internationally -accepted o-riginality study .The government also holds that the talent of university and the achievement of scientific study must con-tribute to the development of society and economy in order to realize the sustainable development of Australia＇s society and economy .Thanks to this educational objective ,the teaching and scientific research of university in Australia has formed its distinct characteristics .
