摘要
以Spitzberg,Byram和Fantini等人的研究成果为理论基础,通过问卷的方式对云南某高校300名非英语专业学生的跨文化交际能力进行调查。以该调查结果为佐证,揭示了当前高校非英语专业学生跨文化交际能力水平普遍偏低的现状与特点,并从教学的角度就如何培养学生跨文化交际能力提出了一些建议。
With the acceleration of the process of globalization ,the purpose of learning a foreign language is no longer just to master the basic knowledge and skills .Instead ,learners should be equipped with intercultural communication com-petence (ICC) .Based on Spitzberg ,Byram and Fantini’ s research ,an investigation into intercultural communicative competence of 300 non-English majors from a university in Yunnan is carried out with the help of questionnaire .The sta-tistics reveal that the students’ ICC is not satisfactory ,and author will proposed some suggestions on how to cultivate students’ ICC from the pedagogical perspective .
