The paper studies and explores the reform on higher mathematics teaching model with the problem -based learning from following aspects： the teaching ideas, theoretical basis, teaching and learning case designs and the scientific and reasonable student evaluation standards with pluralism. The practice shows that it has played a great role in promoting students exploration without fear, innovative spirit, the practical ability to solve the problem and independent learning ability with cooperation.
