摘要
分析了医学图像压缩的必要性,简要介绍了二维离散小波变换和Mallat算法,重点讨论小波变换的原理及其在医学图像压缩方面的具体应用,实验结果表明,小波变换算法具有较高的压缩比和较好的图像恢复质量,选用不同的小波基压缩图像得到的压缩比不同,在同一小波系列内,压缩比随小波序数的增大而减小。
The paper analyzes the necessity of the image compression, introduces 2D discrete wavelet transform and MaUat algo- rithm; it focuses on the principle of wavelet transform and its application in medical image compression. The experiment results show that the higher compression-radio and better recovery image can be expected with this algorithm. The selecting for different wavelet compressed images obtains different compression ratio, in the same wavelet series, the compression ratio will be decreased with increas- ing the number of wavelet.
