In some practical design cases, sprinklers are set at the same separation distance and close to structural beam, and this makes the wide instal- lation of pendent sprinkler with heat collector a must. The disadvantages of this design method are pointed out, influencial factors for consideration in the sprinkler setting of underground garage without suspended ceiling arc analyzed and specific setting methods for several common beam and slab structures are proposed with accurate design flow of the system presented.
