从造物主即上帝的视角去看,丑的出现只是因为没有放在美的整体之中,丑是美的缺乏,作为实体的丑是不存在的。作为奥古斯丁的生存美学给人类生存昭示了其方向,他不仅指出了人类现实的普遍生存的苦难现状,而且还指示了一条解脱困难生命的道途,这条道路即是通向信仰上帝之途。
