College English Teaching Reform for Ship Outfitting Specialty Based on Job Tasks

本文通过对高职英语教学现状的分析,在舾装专业教学改革的基础上,提出高职英语教学要围绕学生未来工作岗位设置教学内容,"以学生为中心"开展课堂教学,并且加大学习过程的考核,激发学生学习英语的积极性与主动性。

Based on the previous teaching reform of ship outfitting specialty and analysis on College English teaching problems, the paper argues that English classroom teaching has to focus on the students＇ future career, that Classroom teaching should be student--centered, and that teachers should take the learning process into consideration when evaluating the result of the study. The author believes that only by this way can teachers motivate their students to study English actively.
