摘要
随着高职公共英语教学改革的不断推进,ESP,即行业英语逐渐被部分高职院校纳入其课程体系。这里以常州轻工职业技术学院的200名化工专业在校生、20名教师及100名本专业毕业生为调查对象,通过对在校生、毕业生和用人单位等三方面的需求分析,重新评估了当前化工专业英语课程体系,查找其在教材使用、教学模式、评估体系和师资结构上存在的不足之处,从而提出建立新的有本专业特色的化工类行业英语课程体系及教材。
With further improvement of English teaching reform in higher vocational college, ESP, has been gradually involved as part of vocational course system. This paper tended to make a need analysis by surveying 200 internal students majoring in light chemical engineering, 20 teachers and 100 graduates to re- evaluate the current ESP course system and find out problems in textbook selection, teaching mode, evalu- ating system and faculty structure, with the expectation of developing the ESP curriculum system and teaching materials with specialty characteristics.
