摘要
本文是译者为一本西方音乐学著作所作的一篇简要述评。正如书名所示,这部音乐学专著以西方艺术音乐的哲学——形而上学源流作为其中心议题,探讨了西方音乐的共性写作时代以及现代音乐的哲学——形而上学预设和基础。本文介绍了这部著作的基本内容并做了简要评价,并指出,我们在谈论音乐的时候,其实背后有着一整套观念预设,它们意味着音乐并非仅仅是音乐自身。
This essay is a brief review on a Western musicological book by its translator. As the title indicates, the book takes the philosophy/metaphysics of Western music as its center topic and explores the universality and time of Western music as well as the foundation of the philosophy/metaphysics of the modern music. When we are talking about music there is in fact a whole system of preset concept which means much more than the music itself.
