The development of car window film has been less than 30 years. With the booming of car industry, the car window film business has also grown at fast pace. The paper introduced the current status of domestic car window film development, classifications, and key elements to be considered in product testing. The paper compared the domestic and foreign standards of car window film, and analyzed the issues exists in Chinese standards.To improved relevant test- ing standards, the paper provided the references for harmonizing domestic film safety and ener- gy saving standards, which will benefit the industry, including Shanghai＇s automotive industry.
