The development status of China＇s environmental sanitation machinery is mainly introduced, the following widespread problems are pointed out, including that tile technical innovation ability of environmental sanitation machinery indus- try is weak, the scale of the industry is small, the structure polarization is serious and the standard system isn＇t perfect etc. With the prospect of tile future of environmental sanitation machinery, the fi）llowing five characteristics are analyzed,which are, the digital concept, integrated technology, module designing, environment-friendly products and user-friendly operation. Some sug- gestions on the development of environmental sanitation machinery industry are put forward, our country sanitation machinery in- dustry is considered to have entered a rapid development period and the development prospect is broad.
