In February 2013, just after the traditional Spring Festival, the Changchun Railway Station was crowded with people going out to find work in other cities. Amidst the crowd, a red banner at- tracted peoples＇ eyes. On it were written four golden characters： ＂Jinlin Big Sisters.＂ Under the banner was a group of hundreds of women workers organized by the Jilin Women＇s Employment Guidance Center, the first group of Jilin Big Sisters organized in 2013 to work in Guangzhou. A team leader said, ＂We send out over 100 teams like this every year.＂ How is such a large group of women workers organized？ It all starts with the hard work and great effort put forth by the Women＇s Employment Guidance Center of Jilin Province over the last 10 or more years to take care of des- titute women.
