赫曼斯翻译规范理论评析

Review of Theo-Hermans' Translation Norms Theory

赫曼斯以"翻译规范"概念为核心的描述性翻译研究开拓了翻译研究的新视野,形成了翻译研究的新范式,对翻译研究产生了深远的影响。但国内系统地介绍该理论的文章并不多见。文章试着从该理论的提出背景、内涵和外延、翻译规范的作用、该理论对翻译研究的积极意义以及它的不足和缺陷等几个方面对该理论进行综合评定,以期对国内翻译研究有所帮助。

Using ＂Translation Norms＂ as the core concept, Theo- Hermans＇DTS （Descriptive Translation Studies） opens up a new perspective, forms a new paradigm and exerts a far - reaching influence on translation studies. But sys- tematical introduction of this theory is not commonly seen in China. This paper tries to make a comprehensive judgment on ＂Translation Norms＂ theory in terms of its background, its connotation and denotation, the role it plays, its signifi- cance in translation studies and its flaws, etc. The author hopes this analysis can make a humble contribution to transla- tion studies in China.
